Leadership: Creativity.
Today, our recommendation is this #tedtalks "Your elusive creative genius of Elizabeth Gilbert".
See our link in the biography.
"Eat, Pray, Love" author Elizabeth Gilbert muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses -- and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person "being" a genius, all of us "have" a genius. It's a funny, personal and surprisingly moving talk.
What is creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a printed literary work, or a painting).
Elizabeth M. Gilbert (born July 18, 1969) is an American author. She is best known for her 2006 memoir,Eat, Pray, Love, which as of December 2010 had spent 199 weeks on theNew York Times Best Seller list, and which was also made into a film by the same name in 2010.
