Madam Onditi a Goat or a Sheep Project. ⁠

This is a revolving scheme aimed at empowering widows by giving a family a mature goat or sheep to raise. The family will own the animal but will return the second born to the project to be given to another family. The family can receive financial support to build a shelter for the animal. ⁠

⁠

The aim of this project is to fight poverty and disease by improving the economic development of widows in Pap Onditi, Kisumu County, Kenya, through a long-term holistic approach that includes sponsorship of education, life skills, business creation and support, training.⁠

⁠

In September we had the opportunity to acquire 8 animals which will benefit an average of 6 children per family and these are the direct beneficiaries of the animals. These animals will greatly help more than 48 families to improve their quality of life.⁠
